Convert Your Babysitter Checklist into Evernote
Creating a babysitting database in Evernote is an efficient way to keep your family information in one place.
Much of your emergency contact information probably stays the same and Evernote allows you to be thorough without re-writing those details on paper every time you get ready to go out.
Why scramble to find a pen and pull those numbers together, hoping you don't brain burp a digit or two, when you can prepare a digital note once?
Cell phone numbers, your home address, closest neighbors contact information, doctor names and numbers, preferred hospital information, the number for your local poison control center, and any other emergency contacts can be easily stored in a table.
Create tables with the desktop edition of Evernote. With a simple right-click you can add rows and expand your table whenever you need. You can also drag columns to adjust the width.
One drawback is the app version of Evernote won't let you create tables. Once the table is placed in a note, you can edit the details, but you can't edit the number of rows and columns like you can on the desktop version.
Under this table of contact information, you can keep notes, reminders, and details on each child.
If you have certain family routines, rules or procedures, you can easily store that information in one place. Evernote gives you many options to organize this information, including numbered lists and bullet points.
You can add an area with details about each of your children. Critical information like allergies and medications can be set in bold-face type. Plus you can add details like favorite toys, songs, or stories.
If you need to include information about any family pets, you can add those details as well.
Any information that you want your babysitter to have can be stored in Evernote.
Keeping all of this information in Evernote saves you time. You input most information once. Then just keep your babysitter checklist note up-to-date.
No more struggling to find that printable babysitter checklist, fill it out again, and try to recall phone numbers when you're feeling rushed.
Your critical information is already compiled.
When you're ready, just open the app, tap the three dots for "more options" in the top right corner, select email, and send the note to your babysitter. You can also print the note, if you choose.
Either way, you're not forgetting any details because you're storing and improving your babysitter checklist digitally.
