Snoozing in Style with the Casper Dog Bed

Snoozing in Style with the Casper Dog Bed

I cannot write enough good things about the Casper Dog Bed!

The simple design appeals to me, my person, and our eight-month old Labradoodle. This dog bed looks good and must feel good because Bernie loves relaxing on it.

We chose the $150 medium bed for our 30ish pound pup. We debated getting the small size for dogs up to 30 pounds, but we're more than happy with the medium. We like the sand color, but it also comes in gray and blue. Luckily, our pup has some doting grandparents who purchased the mattress for him.

The dog mattress arrived in a pretty light-weight container.

The user friendly Casper website highlights the various benefits of purchasing their dog mattress, but with any internet purchase, you don't know product quality until you open the box.

As soon as I opened the lid, I knew this purchase was an epic win!

Even better, as soon as I flipped this cute inner flap, I found a dog toy. A waffle.

The instructions come themed as a doggie late night newsletter. One written set of instructions explains step-by-step how to assemble the dog mattress and includes a phone number for questions. The other set of instructions is more Ikea-themed.

The mattress pieces and cover are all neatly wrapped. I spent maybe three minutes putting the bed together. There's no yucky foam mattress odor.

We called Bernie over to the new dog bed and immediately he hopped on. He loves it!

The Casper website touts their "surface features excess material on top to mimic the sensation of pawing at loose earth." I've watched Bernie paw at this mattress and so far I see no wear and tear.

Sometimes he sprawls across the entire mattress and other times he curls up in one corner. I bring the mattress into the office area when I'm working and he sleeps contentedly right next to me.

And the waffle toy? I swear the Casper engineers must have invented dognip and placed a good dose into that thing because Bernie loves that waffle toy. During our daily play sessions, he consistently brings me waffle and wants to play fetch.

This high quality medium dog mattress for pups up to 60 pounds is well worth the $150 in my opinion. (The small is for pups up to 30 pounds at $125, and the large is for pups up to 90 pounds at $225.) We have 100 nights for Bernie to try the mattress out and if anything goes wrong, the return is free. I just don't see us wanting to return this well-designed doggie bed.
